Peter studied Applied Mathematics at the Technical University of Eindhoven. During his 40+ year career in Shell his main focus was on improving gross margins of customers by optimising their hydrocarbon supply chain. He participated in supply chain improvement projects with customers in over 30 counties – both inside and outside Shell. Optimising the hydrocarbon supply is a combination of 1) solving complex models, 2) generating accurate data, 3) developing business processes, and 4) improving business economics acumen in companies. His strength is in the possibility to split complex supply chain problems in these 4 pillars.
In his private life Peter enjoys driving his 82 year old Skoda and spending time with children and grandchildren.
