Jannes Regterschot joined Petrogenium on 1 Sep 2021 as Client Director, with focus on LNG facilities and upstream processing. He will also work as consultant LNG Business Improvement. During the previous 31 years he held postings with Shell in The Netherlands, Malaysia, the UK and the US and worked for Malaysia LNG and Nigeria LNG. His activities included facility design, conceptual studies, operations support, technical advice, project development, and project execution. The last 12 years he worked as a service manager dealing with asset management for various LNG facilities. He considers himself a team player and is used to interacting with all levels in a client organisation.

Building trusted relations with colleagues and clients is essential to create a good understanding of issues and needs and to create continuity in support. Addressing the right customer needs and making the useful contributions represents a major part of a successful outcome. Disciplined execution and proper communication will guarantee a successful delivery. Jannes enjoys working with so many experienced colleagues (many of whom he already knew) and to be relevant in this ever-changing industry.

When not at work, he enjoys staying fit through a wide variety of sports, such as tennis, cycling, running, skiing and a bit of fitness. He likes gardening and (small) jobs in and around the house. He loves to travel with his wife Veronique and at times with both their sons.
