Mark has 35 years’ experience with Shell in international postings: 18 years in Exploration and Production in Engineering and Project Management roles, 17 years with Shell’s Projects & Technology group in Commercial and General Management roles. His roles have included oil and gas process engineering, project consultancy, energy services, Venture Risk Management, commercial technology licensing and strategic partnering. He completed a 12-month full-time MBA course at Cranfield School of Management, UK during a sabbatical year. Mark enjoys strategic thinking, the challenge to operationalise developed strategies and working with external stakeholders/partners.

He is based in Vaud, Switzerland.
