Anand is a chartered chemical engineer with post graduate diploma in Finance & Management. He has over 36 years’ experience in the petrochemicals/refining / oil & gas industries. Most of his experience has been in manufacturing/ technology, process engineering/design and process economics/planning. He has shouldered leadership roles in manufacturing, technology and process design/integration functions.

He was certified as a subject matter expert(TA2) in SHELL for process engineering / process integration and lower olefins.

In his 15 years with Shell Anand took on leadership roles as Manager Chemicals for Asia Pacific , Team Lead for Regional Manufacturing support for Chemicals Manufacturing in APAC and as Front End Development Manager for integrated Projects in Chemicals, Biofuels/Renewables with capex range of 250 million USD to 1 billion USD over the last 6 years till July 2023. Anand retired from Shell in July 2023 and currently works for Petrogenium as Principal Consultant
